Charisma or Charade

Bhutto's have always been a charisma in Pakistani politics. They were leaders, knew how to inspire awe, admiration, love and invoke the mesmerism of public at large playing on the sentiments of people through their rhetoric, oratory and eloquence. They knew much about the public mood especially the weaker sections of the society and exploited it well in their speeches. from seventies till today, the slogan Roti, Kapra, Aur Makaan is as relevant as it was in the seventies.

Benazir Bhutto like her father was at the same time the target of hate and idol of worship. she has been criticized, humiliated targeted as a woman politician. Hailed from a wealthy landlord and political Sindhi family, bred in a western culture, getting her education from Harvard and Oxford, she was not a novice to the Pakistani politics. She knew the culture and powerhouses of the politics. She was the first  female Muslim Prime Minister, The youngest Prime Minister of Pakistan and Youngest Female world leader. Although arose to prominence and power due to the political power and legacy of her Father, but earned her own stature through her innate capabilities as an eloquent leader and an extraordinary speaker. She has a Charisma attached to her personality. She has an ambitious agenda to pursue in politics but could not achieve her goals due to an early dismissal, which she tried to fulfil during her second stint but like the first stint "her hands were tied."

Her marriage made her a charade and earned her a fame of a corrupt politician, milking the poor to buy expensive jewelry and Surrey like properties, her spouse earned a reputation of Mr. Ten Percent. As a chief Executive she was supposed to rein in her spouse but she played an accomplice and unleashed him on wealthy Businessmen and poverty stricken public.

Her personal aura is still alive in interior Sindh where she had become an effigy worthy of worship along with her father, the same masses whom she let die while she and her cronies basked in the sun and made hay at the expense of public money. 

We have a long chain of charismatic heroes who who rose to prominence following "unprincipled lust for power, achieved through subtle policies and cunning roguery" principals of governance propagated by Machiavelli during Italian Renaissance and Chanakya in India. both were political strategist and help the governments to devise charming slogan to allure the masses and spell bound them with oratory and exploit the social and economic rift to further their political designs. 

So the astute followers of their political startegy, our politician did nothing except to pay a lip service to masses and exploiting them, milking them to fill their own coffers with ill gotten money.

The illiterate masses will go on to be exploited and "No Messiah would come until they themselves become their own well wishers" as the lesson is very clear, "God does not change people's state unless they change themselves." 

"These charades will always be a charismas for the masses until a revolution which dawned upon the humanity 1400 years ago enters the hearts and until it does not find its way into their practical lives"
